Most social media platforms enable people to interact, share ideas and have meaningful interactions; the same is true for your Mindvalley experience when utilising your account via web and app.
However, with the vast number of students, there is also the unfortunate presence of spam users and inappropriate comments. In order to keep and maintain a positive ecosystem here in Mindvalley, we encourage you to take the necessary steps shared below to sustain that friendly, positive community vibe and report such activities to us.
So, here's what you can do as a Mindvalley student:
If you encounter a suspicious user who attempts to add you with the intention of selling or seeking financial transactions, please report that user/ account.
If you are using the Mindvalley App, to report a user click the three dots in the upper right corner, as shown below. You can choose to report or block the user to avoid future interactions. This is applicable to both the Mindvalley App and your Mindvalley Account via web.
Here's how to report a spam user using your Mindvalley Account via web:
1. Login to your Mindvalley Account.
2. Click on the Connect tab, then go to "People"
3. You can search the user's name at the search bar or
4. Click on the user's profile picture, then click on "Report".
5. After you click on "Report", you'll see a pop-up notice asking you to specify the reason for reporting, as shown below. You can select the most appropriate reason then click on the button "Report".
Please bear in mind that if your Mindvalley Account is at Level 1, you have a limit on the amount of spam reports you can make. Learn more about account levels by reading this article.
